Your future business partner

Why now

Korean food is having its decade

K-pop, K-dramas, Korean fried chicken, and kimchi have moved from niche to mainstream across America, but most towns still don't have a single fast-casual Korean option. Son of Egg is built to fill that gap: Korean comfort food that's approachable for first-timers and real enough for regulars.

📈

A rising cuisine

Korean flavors are among the fastest-growing in US restaurants and grocery, and demand still far outpaces supply outside major metros.

🍳

Simple to operate

A focused menu around rice bowls, sandwiches, and fried chicken. No open flame required in the front, minimal SKUs, cross-trained staff.

📦

Small footprint

Designed for compact spaces near transit stations, campuses, and downtown corridors: lower buildout, lower rent, faster payback.

The model

Five revenue streams in one building

1. Quick-bite restaurant

Counter-service Korean comfort food with sandwiches at $7–$12.50 and bowls at $8–$15.50: accessible price points with fast-casual economics and strong repeat visits.

2. Catering

The same menu scales from a 10-person office lunch to a 200-guest wedding: high-margin volume from one kitchen.

3. Retail kimchi

House-fermented kimchi sold by the jar in-store and through local grocers (ours is at Honest Weight Food Co-op and more). Every location doubles as a CPG outpost.

4. Event space

Our Rensselaer flagship rents its second floor at $100/hour for up to 128 guests, turning dead square footage into bookings, bar sales, and catering orders.

5. Brand & merch

Jegg, our egg mascot, powers merch and social content that a generic restaurant can't replicate. Brand equity you own locally.

Proof, not promises

Every stream runs today at 483 Broadway. Franchisees get the playbook for all five, then adopt the ones that fit their space.
